Laurie, owner of Studio Laurus, provides fitness, pilates, yoga & wellness services to individuals & corporations throughout the Sacramento area. Laurie's 20+ years of experience as a group fitness instructor/personal trainer has graciously allowed to work with a diverse clientele. It is through this work that she is able to develop programming & services with "curb appeal", efficiency & attention to personal service. Laurie is ACE/AFAA certified/STOTT Pilates trained.

Candace Aguilar

I first experienced yoga in my high school dance class, and have been inspired to return to the mat ever since. Yoga brings gratitude, excitement, and power into my life. I completed my first 200-hour teacher training in December 2010 and am excited to continue my education and training. When I am not on my mat, I am finishing my pre-requisites at Sacramento City College for the Nutrition Graduate Program at UC Davis. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes and love to bake my famous chocolate chip cookies. In my yoga class I offer students a safe space to grow, strengthen and connect with mind and body.

Jill Rios

As a Pilates and Fitness Instructor, Jill Rios incorporates a combination of experience and education in her approach to personal fitness instruction. As part of this approach, Jill challenges her clients with a comprehensive training program specifically designed to meet the individual needs of each client.

Born and raised in the Napa Valley, Jill has lived in Sacramento for the past twenty years and has been married for nine years with two daughters. Having grown up in a household where athletics and fitness were encouraged, Jill has developed a passion for exercise and overall body conditioning by maintaining her own training and practice. Jill is a Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructing Pilates, Jill also teaches yoga, indoor cycling, bootcamp, and conditioning classes at various locations throughout the Sacramento region.
